Ballinloan Farm is situated in the heart of Perthshire. It is home to 90 Pedigree Limousin cows, 60 Limousin and BB cross cows and 2000 Breeding ewes. It is worked along with Hatton of Eassie Farm a 400 acre arable unit. The two units are worked together by Ewan and Stuart Fotheringham. We have always aimed to produce quality stock that are easily fleshed and naturally done so continue to do well on leaving Ballinloan. For this reason we do not show our stock extensively only supporting a few local shows. However, we have been successful at local shows and some of our home bred stock have been shown very successfully by their new owners. In the early years we relied on stock bulls and selective A.I. to introduce new genetics. We have recently started some embryo work to further expand. We sell our Pedigree livestock at Carlisle and Stirling but also regular customers buy privately from Ballinloan. We always welcome visitors to view our stock.
